Chapter 01
The indicators that decide it
Six things tell us a roof has reached the point of replacement instead of another repair: damaged or missing shingles, light coming through the roof deck, a roof deck that has started to droop, shingle granules collecting in the gutters, water stains on ceilings or walls, and an energy bill that has climbed for no reason anyone in the house can explain.
Any one of those on its own might still be a repair. Two or three of them together, on the same roof, usually means the roof itself is done, not just the section you can see from the ground.

Tear-off, deck, and the parts nobody sees
Roof Tear-Off means the old roof comes off down to bare decking, not a re-cover layered on top of it. That's the only way to actually see what twenty years of Central Oklahoma weather has done underneath: sheathing gone soft around old vent stacks, fastener holes that never got sealed, flashing that has been doing its job on borrowed time.
We handle Roof Deck Repair and Roof Deck Installation as part of the same job, replacing any decking that's compromised rather than roofing over it. Flashing gets reset, not reused. Old pipe boots come off and new ones go on, because a boot that's dried out and split is one of the most common leaks on a roof that otherwise looks fine.
Chapter 03
Living through a replacement
A replacement is loud for a few days, not weeks. We sequence the tear-off and the new roof so the house isn't sitting open to weather overnight, and we protect the driveway and the landscaping around the house while the crew is working above it.
The last thing on the job is a magnet pass across the yard and driveway to pick up stray nails, done before the crew leaves, not left for you to find later with a lawn mower. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and the number is (405) 360-4772 if you want to talk through timing before you commit to a date.
